We continue our efforts to help the community prepare. The community was invited to come and build a 72-Hour Emergency Preparedness Kit for each member of their family.

Assemble personal 72-Hour Emergency Preparedness Kits on-site.
Kits will not be shipped.

Recommended additional
items for a 72-Hour Kit

  • Water: Minimum 1 gallon per person (ideally 3 gallons per person for 72-Hour period)
  • Flashlight with extra batteries
  • Basic first aid kit
  • Roll of toilet paper/tissue
  • Necessary toiletries & sanitary items
  • Necessary medications
  • Necessary baby/pet supplies
  • Paper & pen
  • Duck tape
    (Tip: Wrap several yards around pen to save space)
  • Radio with extra batteries
  • Change of warm clothing
  • Plastic garbage bag - (for sanitary purposes)
  • Copies of vital documents
    (insurance cards/policies, birth certificates, Social Security cards, passports, etc…)
